    We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our ALC Digital team of professionals. This position may be based in our Princeton, NJ / New York City or Tarrytown, NY locations.

     

    Our “ideal candidate” will establish, nurture, and expand relationships with strategically important customers – including global marketing platforms and suppliers.

     

    You will be responsible for achieving assigned strategic account objectives and revenue targets for three to five named customers. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

    Qualifications

    In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience: 

    • Minimum five years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
    • Extensive experience in the marketing data ecosystem and deep understanding of business needs and objectives across one or more of the following segments: marketer, agency, supplier.
    • Functional understanding of person-level data and analytics, and related relationships and processes.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

    • Establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in strategic accounts.
    • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
    • Meeting targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
    • Leading the company-strategic account planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for each client.
    • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis.
    • Leading solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
    • Enlisting the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
    • Closely coordinating company executive involvement with customer management.
    • Working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
    • This position will report to the President and may have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities in specific customers.
